That is a good looking phaeton Rossofozini. In terms of the side curtains, Is the strip along the top (runing along the top above the doors) original? The curtains I have for mine don't seem to have this piece.

Not sure if is original but my 1930 has it as well. Maybe its a down under ( or antipodean for the scholars out there ) thing ! I have a friend with a 1929 and I don't think he has it I will look in the JS Karl

Of the old side curtains I have, the strip was part of the door curtain, sewn on the front edge. It sat on the inside of the top of the piece that swung open with the door. It attached to the frame of the hood with the lift the dot type fasteners. The front of the strip held up the front of the curtain and the door rod supported the rear of the curtain. These curtains that I have, are what was left when my dad picked up A's from paddocks in the fifties and sixties, so I'm not sure whether they are original or not, but they would have only been thirty or so years old when left in the paddock.

Very nice ....

You might suggest they give a couple more seconds for each car
to be viewed before advancing to the next frame

Moves kinda quick - but then I'm getting kinda old ...

My 40B Roadster has a similar piece that acts as a seal for the top of the door curtain against the top. The curtains I have are factory original. Gar Williams
