Default Gas and ways to seal

Hi gents

I’m having difficulty sealing the fuel connection into carb. I know Teflon tape is no good. Can I use seal all? Or what do you recommend?

How about GOOD threads? It may require a different carburetor cover (top plate). They are plentiful and cheap.

Threads don't seal it. Depending on the application, the flare or ferrule does the sealing. The threads provide pressure for the seal.

Assuming you are referring to a 94 type carb, have you tried replacing the ferrule? They sometimes get damaged. Very rarely, the entire line needs to be replaced.
