Greased Lightning (1978) is a great movie about wendell scott.

Used to visit Dave a bunch when I lived there. Supplied early year cars for the movie.

Full day on TCM for Carroll Baker. Quite the unsung beauty of the 50's 60s... Lots of fords too throughout the day.

Latest that caught my eye was "Violent Saturday". Although it won't be a flathead, there is a nice 54 Mercury that comes to a sad ending late in the show. The Ford truck was unharmed though.

Just watched " Spring Madness " 1938. A Deluxe 1932 Ford V8 Roadster appears in many scenes. Its repainted and has some extra period goop but a lot of authentic details are on display. In the end it gets "disassembled" by some college boys as a prank. Makes you wonder what it was worth as a six year old car.

53 Mercury convertible at the 4:30 mark. Plenty more Fords to see in this 1954 movie. (Pushover)

I see that the editor of Road Chatter, the newsletter for Regional Group 8 of The Early Ford V-8 Club of America, has been publishing a knock off of our epic thread V-8 Fords on Film in their recent issues. Well, it started here first.

Never seen a white 1937 Ford in real life. I think this is a police car in the movie. Guy Kibbey stars in It's a Wonderful World (1939).

I watched The House with a Clock in its Walls with my wife and another couple. Was happy to see two 1936 Ford Coupes in the film.

Lost Lonely And Vicious (1958). Spotted a 52 and 53 Mercury in the first 2 minutes of this movie. More to come I am sure.

Man In The Dark (1953). Just scanning it tonight and several interesting Fords including a car chase with a 47 and 50 Ford. Brief view of a 52 Lincoln and a couple of really good shots of a 52 Mercury like mine (minus the 2 back doors).

This old Albert Hitchcock film turned out to have some great views of a jailbar pickup and a 51 Merc woody wagon. Driving and parked. Both covered in mud at times and the woody wagon came to a sad end.
