Re: 1935 36 bumper guards.
Both top and bottom of the '35 version slant slightly outward whereas the bottom of the '36 version curves inward.

Re: 1935 36 bumper guards.
Hi Everyone. I've always thought the bottom of the 36 very much complimented the shape of the hood from the center hinge down to the badge. Sorta bookends the styling from my standpoint.
The majority of people can't tell 'em apart anyway.

Don, nice pictures, but all they would really need is a copy of your great 1935-36 Ford Book, and then actually read it, to know these things plus much much more.

That is a great illustration showing the subtle differences between these two models. Don, thanks for sharing. |

Re: 1935 36 bumper guards.
Todd, Go to the Early Ford V-8 Club's website https://www.earlyfordv8.org/index.cfm
Then go to the on-line store. You can purchase one there for ~ $30.00 using your credit card. You could also join the V-8 Club and get the bi-monthly copy of the V-8 Times magazine which is alone well worth the price of admission, IMO.

Re: 1935 36 bumper guards.
I just want to add that some people where straight to the point with there answer and I really appreciate that. Some others added there two scents with remarks that kinda told me where to go for the information. Those people I guess don’t know the answer and are basically saying your on your own. This forum is to help others in this hobby. I have the book your talking about but it’s buried behind some boxes. Was it to much to answer the question. Comradery between members that’s what this forum is about. Be nice when you play with the rest of the boys.
