Default Winfield Hi-Comp A/B head

City: anywhere
State: WA

FOUND ONE FINALLY. Thanks Rod.

I'm looking for a good usable Hi-Comp (6:1 or 6.4:1) Winfield head for my model B engine. They seem to be out of stock everywhere I look so I'm wondering if someone has one they aren't using. I will pay shipping and have stuff to trade if you're looking for something specific. Send me a picture and price and we'll go from there. Thanks.

I'd be interested in any head as long as its not over 6.5:1 compression ratio, so if you have something sitting around let me know.

Have you checked with Reds Headers, they carry a 6:1.

Yep, but everywhere is out of stock with no estimate on when more will arrive. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I'd love to find a Weiand head as well. Either one would suit me just fine......

I have one. I cut the valve pockets to take 1.750 valves and made a couple of other
chamber mods.
PM me with your email address and I'll send some pictures. The compression ratio
worked out to 6.2-1 after chamber mods.
It did this for a project that is way down the road.

Seriously Dodge?? Let me clarify my request for you...... I would like to find a good, usable Winfield or Wieand aluminum head for my model B engine. I want something with less than 7:1 compression and I do NOT need modifications like enlarged valve pockets or other fancy tricks. The head doesn't have to be new....I would actually prefer an older used head as long as it is usable. My budget is under $500 and I can always wait for the next batch of Winfields for $400.

One more thing Dodge: I'm not sure if you realize this, but this website offers a thing called PRIVATE MESSAGE. If you feel the need to bitch about the fact that I didn't jump at your offer you can send me a message, not clog up this WANTED thread with your opinions. If I wanted to hear what you think about my request I'd post this in the forum, not the wanted section.
