My grandson's 30 Tudor did the same thing after the engine was rebuilt. It turned out the breather pipe was from a 28 and it looked like someone had messed with baffle flutes. The engine rebuilder suggested we install a breather from a 32. All the suppliers were out of stock with the reproductions . We obtained an original from Sammy (a good guy to do business with) at Arizona Vintage. When installed it, it did the trick.
