True. Skips pumps have his "multi-flow" impellers which move more water if there is less resistance to flow. In other words - higher flow but less pressure - kind of like a fan compared to a compressor. Has never made sense to me to sacrifice the necessary benefits of a thermostat just to move more water. I did a real world test of that here comparing stats vs. no stats:
