I believe as a deluxe car it "should" have also had a single pinstripe on the belt molding to match the wheel color. AS from the factory, I would say NO never painted grey, would a dealer "possibly" re-paint at the customer's request....."maybe".......but not "original. Here is a 35 with the green wheels. The green formula should be easily obtained from most paint records. Where it me I'd go green as quick as I could as I love that color with the black SO I'm very partial that way!!!!! NOTE green pinstripe too!! There was also red & tacoma cream which may not be according to hoyle but would also look good with the black IF you wanted to at least stay with 'original" colors!!!! IF your car is that "original" post some more pictures, would love to see more of it!!!!
