I know the original owners manual states change your oil every 500 miles. With todays detergent oils, multi grade, better road conditions, at what mileage do you change your oil?

For my 1930 Model A, it does not get many miles on it. My plan for my car is 500 Miles, or 6 months, whichever comes first. I just changed the oil here in July. Since changing it, I dug up something I will share with you about what Oil to use in a Model A Ford. Strumming thru it, will probably take the next 6 months to grapple with understanding all the data! Anyway, here it is...........Sorry, it is 28 pages.................http://rmaford.org/wp-content/blogs....C_Mar_2012.pdf
