As I have stated several times before on this subject the the above is my preferred method of choice for removing broken studs that are not in blind holes,for me it is also the quickest & have yet to find any negative to this method

Also keep in mind that so often the reason the studs won’t come out is because of corrosion on the end in water jackets, this corrosion can also damage block threads as you wind them out
