A friend of mine had a Formula Ford race car that he ran in amateur races at Riverside Raceway many years ago. Maybe someone can remember if it was a Pinto engine.

The Cortina in the US, early and late depending on the head and pistons.
That was a Kent engine..
The Lotus Cortina..had a twin cam, 2 valves per cylinder with side draft Webers. I believe
the heads were done by Frank Costin and Keith Duckworth....Cosworth..
