I also have an early (June 28) phaeton. Sorry I can't help you with the upholstery question, but just wanted to make contact coz we AR people need to know who's out there! You can check mine out in my albums. There's a "Fans of Phaetons" group here as well, which I joined but there doesn't seem to be any action there! Maybe join it and ask this question to the group and get something happening?? There's not a lot of talk about phaetons in the wider group - it seems that we scored all the open cars.
The Kiwis have their own FordBarn group too. Maybe the Aussies need one?
