I have found on my '31 S/W town sedan that I need a longer mirror arm than the reproduction mirror arm pictured on this thread. That mirror arm is 5.5" from the hinge pin center to the hole for the mirror head. I measured my sedan and found the rear of the car is wider by 1.5" than at the door where the mirror would be. The mirror arm length to get adequate visibility (to me) is more like 8.0". Would others agree?
Also, I have not found a mirror arm this length that is reproduced.
