Many years ago these were listed in Hemmings by a person from Southern California (his name escapes me). My understanding is he passed and no one picked up his patterns. Windsor Fabrications of Battle Creek Michigan (Harold E???) may also have made them in cast iron. The problem with these were that they were cast solid and you had to run the wire external.


We do make the 1935-39 and 1940-41 versions, cast bronze, hollow (early runs of the 1935-39 were aluminum). Drake sells these.


As to demand, I have had inquiries for these maybe 6 times in the last 30 years. This is likely one of those parts where the extreme rarity of the part is exceeded only by the more extreme rarity of need.
