Re: Starter and fly wheel
Make sure the starter ring gear is flush up against the stop. Repos do not fit on the flywheel as tight as the originals. When the starter engages it wants to pull the ring gear away from the stop. Henry should have listened to Edsel and put the stop on the other side.
I had to have mine drilled and pinned.
