I also saw the cross member on e-bay. Even if it was the right one it seems a little high priced.
Yes, Gary Goodell has passed on and I think they have ceased operations.
I looked at Fatman's frame on his website and the front cross member doesn't look original. In part I think because they don't use stock suspension.
I was hoping not to have to build my own but the blueprint will be useful if I do. I have one last option. I found an older Hot Rod article in which they replace the front cross member in a 56. A fellow named Gary Dagel apparently made one and installed it. He makes Model A street rod parts and may be able to help me out.
