Re: Tire tubes and age.
I just replaced a set of Firestone 19” tires that were 32 years old - they had small cracks in the outer ply, but had less than 3000 miles on them. Since i’m About to start touring with a very active local club, I decided to replace tires and tubes. No sense taking a chance.
