Mike, the roller shaft is the hardest thing to find.Their metal also not wood or plastic like modern shades, Modern shades and brackets can be used in an emergency they are almost duplicats to the orig. The roller is slightly fatter but really not noticeable once installed.Middle 30's unroll from the bottom not top like a normal shade. hope this helps ken ct.
