Mitchell overdrive in '36 pickup
Finally installed the 36% Mitchell overdrive in my '36 pickup over the Thanksgiving weekend. Easy installation, took my time, removed rear wheels and completed over 4 day Holiday weekend. I opted for the "under the dash mount" that I machined out of one piece of aluminum. Push/Pull handle clears swan by about 4" when Transmission is in Reverse. I like the look of the swan gear shift lever and didn't think the Push/Pull handle (solid tubing straight portion) looked good with the swan, also did not want to disturb my new floorboard and transmission cover for optional thru floor mount stick shift lever.
