I had some work done on a banjo rear end by a old Ford guy back in 2000. While he was showing me around I came across a brand new, still shiny, factory relieved, 59AB block on a stand. When I asked about it he said it was for sale. I thought about it for a while but he talked me out of it because it was going to be expensive. Now I'm still kicking myself, it probably would have been the best $500 I ever spent.
