The good thing (
I guess) is, the price of gas has come down recently.
The bad thing is, the price of oil has gone up...
I got very ambitious the other day and decided to change the oil & filters on several of our Flatheads... I went to the auto parts store and bought ten quarts of oil (
they had a special where you could get an oil filter for free with the purchase of five quarts of a particular name brand of oil). I also bought some MMO, Engine Restorer (
I use it in the LZ V-12), Brake Cleaner, and Gear Oil, all on sale.
When I got to the check out, the bill came to over $100.00!!!
Oh well, I guess what they say is true; if you want to play, you've got to pay...
