There are two reasons,
1) They just want to. And that's fine!
2) Misinformation. This one is harder and has caused many people to be banned from the site.
Over the many years since the Model A was a common daily driver, it has become engrained in a lot of people that changes
have to be made to have a reliable car. This is simply not true!
