Ok, picture is a bit clearer now, sorry I have not followed all of your posts. How about this, you want a car (preferably an A) and your parents want good grades. strike a deal that gets you the car you want but that you can't drive it until your grades get into the 'B' range-and stay there. Plus you may have to work on it so that keeps you more into the grades until your junior/senior year of H.S. But, at least you can work on it the rest of the time and get it fixed up to be reliable for years to come.


This way you get the mechanical experience, good grades and over the summer you get a job to earn the money to buy parts. Which leads you down the road of being financially responsible. It is a win,win,win,win situation.
