25 years ago I had a Tudor with worn out seat springs, even 20 miles was uncomfortable.
Our modern car was a Volvo 244, I measured the front seat and found it was a good fit.
Got a seat from a junk yard Volvo and had a very simple bracket welded up to adapt it to the Tudor's seat posts.
It was extremely comfortable on long trips and I could swap back the Model A seat whenever I wanted to.
