Geez Ronn, I dunno if that is how I would value the two, but maybe that is real-world.

I have posted a picture of the KR Wilson Cylinder Boring Attachment (-that I took directly from my KR Wilson Book) and a picture of my Kwik-Way FR Boring Bar. From my experiences, it is extremely tough to buy any working F-series Boring Bar for under $2,500. If Jim sold his for $400 with tooling, someone got the deal of the century, -and those deals are very rare. For me personally, I would have liked to own Jim's machine just because of the provenance & history of who owned it.

So to comment on Chuck's unit, I know the Cylinder Boring attachments can be manually powered and can be driven using the Combination Machine. IMO, the KRW attachment can likely still do the job however from my vantage point, the usefulness in anything other than a hobby shop doing demonstration work is about it. Although we cannot see Chuck's unit, I would think that to the right collector depending on condition, the unit should be valued in the $200-$500 range. Again, I think this boils down to the value a buyer feels it is worth to themself.
