Top bearing - Remove light rod and steering wheel. Use 1/8th inch drill and tear up old rubber bearing, then use vacuum tube which will fit over steering shaft and clean out crumbs from rubber bearing. Hardware store can supply a wheelbarrow bearing which fits without machining and which has a flange to keep it from sliding down the tube. Install bearing, steering wheel and light rod and you are done. Bearing cost about $5.
