The official Optima company website states that "This product is currently unavailable to purchase. Out of stock". It does not state it has been discontinued or no longer manufactured. I do know that they only make the 6 volt battery in batches when they can fit them into their production demands for their standard 12 volt batteries. So don't panic yet until we know more.
