Re: Are the supplier's "v8 STYLE pressure plates" really for tractors?
The so called tractor style have pressure plate pivot points secured by cir clips. The V8 with the counterwiegits have the pivot points secured by cotter pins. I had a cir clip come off. Clutch would not release. Towed home. V8 pp are available at Ft Wayne Clutch, google it. The have a "kit" includes TO and pilot bearings and clutch.
