I'd go for the earlier dome type distributor if one is available anywhere. Find one with an good coil & have it rebuilt. It would look more at home in a 36 even with a 37 block with the water pump block off plates. The 37 & 38 21-stud engines were pretty adaptable. Definitely the best of the 21-stud motors in my opinion.
