Default Re: What model has the highest Value in a 1931 ??

If not mistaken, Murray, Briggs and Ford produced bodies for the '31 Slant sedan, earlier ones with non- indented firewall. All SW tn sedans window openings were standardized. The SW tn. sedans had a lot less wood than the ones with the visors and to many, though not all owners, are more desirable, perhaps more valuable ? Some of the earlier SW tn sedans had no stitching on the door panels, some with no rear door pockets but a pocket on the back seat, sun visors , etc. etc. The 160 B may be a slightly more valuable with cowl lights and other deluxe features compared to the 160 A std. and be worth more in the market place than a Tudor sedan because there were less SW sedan produced. The De Angeles , Henry The Ford Model A book has pretty good descriptions for interior and exterior options and photos for the different models.
As to value, The A 400, deluxe 2dr. phaeton and Town car will command more $$ due to low production no's.
