merc, you are correct about the Station Wagon not being sold in Australia. Remember that all '41-'48 Station Wagon bodies were built in Iron Mountain Michigan and shipped to assigned assembly plants in America. It would be cost prohibited to ship bodies to Australia. The book "Famous Ford Woodies" has a chapter dedicated to "War Wagons". It tells of Canadian built Ford Station Wagons shipped to Australia and several other countries in WW II, to be used as war vehicles. If someone found a "War Woodie", it could easily be made into a production vehicle.
