The guys that did the pin stripes on the line where not as precise as we think. They ran down the side of a 38 with three brushes on a stick. Certainly didn't take hours laying a stripe down. Sure practice makes perfect.

On a bumper you can brush it on. Then go back with long strokes of acetone and a rag to clean it up.

I remember trying to mask off a club plate to paint the background. Till a painter said just paint the plate black and then come back after it dries with a rag lite with solvent and clean off the high areas.

Just a thought.
