Let the surgery begin! Next pile of rusty gold. Dragged out a table form the corner of the garage. Built this probably 20+ yrs ago. LOL

Decided on the tailgate first, I can truly say the tailgate is all original to the truck.

I'll let the pics do the talking. Top and bottom tubes are from the bed sides.

Just have it in mock up stage, til after the metal treatment and than weld her up.

The '39 bed sides are on the table now. I'll be using flat pcs from the original bed sides to do all the patches on the '39 bed also.
