Where the door header wood meets the door pillar, there is a plate with 3 holes, do I use 3 wood screws or 3 machine bolts with nuts?

Where the front wood header meets the other 2 plates L & R, with 3 holes on left and 3 holes on right, do I use 3 wood screws or 3 machine screws with nuts per side ?
