I took a differential apart.
I installed new bearings etc.
When I put it back together, I ended up with approx. 22 thou of gaskets on each side to get the backlash and preload correct.All the reading I have done indicate between 10-15 thou.
I have checked all bearing seats etc. for interference.
Is that too many gaskets?
