Well if it runs at least you know everything is there. If I were buying it, although it runs and that's a good thing but without knowing you almost have to assume that your gonna need to check it out. Every one I've opened up needed crank reground and cam bearing journals are also bad to wear in these engines. Due to poor oiling I suspect. I'd say $2K -$2500. Keep in mind that everything for these engines is expensive
