Steering box oil
How much is OK?
I rebuilt the steering box in my 31 and filled it to the top with heavy oil.
The bottom seal has the extended tube and I replaced the seal on the thingy with two teeth.
It is leaving a puddle of oil on the floor.
I am thinking that I overfilled it.
In any case it is now better than when it didn’t have any oil.
How full should it be?
