Re: Rayfield RIF Carburetor
Thank you for your reply. I had seen the Model A.org entry on Rayfield RIF including the 1995 Restorer references. But have not seen the Model A News reference which is obviously new (and why I haven't seen it.)
It may be time to start up my membership to MARC again?
It does seem to be a rather "precisely" made carburetor - lots of finicky parts in a rather involved body casting. This one appears all there and is unmolested (I always look with suspect on a carburetor shown on Ebay "apart") and should be a good candidate for restoration.
And either run it and see how it goes - or put it on the shelf next to that Mochi, the Zenith "no-same" (Argentinian copy?), the Simmons Wizard, the spare Tilly X, the Tilly F1B, The Marvel/AllState/
He who dies with the most spare parts wins?
Only (what is it?) 28 Zenith variants to go?
