You’re probably right....the tag does have Pittsburgh, Pa
Car the engine came from was parked about 1970
Didn’t notice the tag till I did some cleaning
I don’t know what was used to undercoat back in the day....say 1940
But the oil pan has an even coating of something like asphalt....definitely not
ancient oil and dirt
