1940 Deluxe Coupe trunk won't open
Hi - I have a 1940 Deluxe Coupe that I moved the battery into the trunk. I tried to start the car the other day and the battery is dead (lasted over 10 years!). l need to get access to the battery, but when I use the key and turn handle the trunk won't open. I have tried pushing, pulling, and turning key back and forth. It is a reproduction latch that has worked with no problems for over a decade. I did a search, but didn't see a solution to my problem. Any suggestions on how to get my trunk open? Thanks, Brian
