At our shop we get engines from several sources such as FedEx, various motor freight companies, and drop shipping from friends with a pickup truck. The cost can be reduced if you construct a wooden cradle for the engine and firmly anchor it. The cradle can then be used to send the engine back after repair. Otherwise many shippers will not accept the load.
