Interestingly, in 1963 my high school girlfriend wanted me to rod my Model A because the other guys had faster and fancier cars. My little ol' Model A was just too funky for her. 51 years later the girlfriend is a nice memory long gone and I still have my stock, funky Model A.
And now it is the young guys who give me the looks when an old guy pulls up: "How long have you had that?"
