The Canadian Supplement to the Restoration Guidelines & JS's states Canadian blocks were painted Ford Engine Green.
All Canadian engines were assembled new at Ford City Ontario, no matter where they ended up. Of course, later on if they were reconditioned by a Ford overseas plant, other colours may have been used.
My original car [ 64K miles when I got it 50 years ago] has faint remains of a dark green colour on the Eureka Planter, Ontario made water pump casting. Cheers.
