I didn't hold out as long as Tom before buying a computer , but I did have the same initial reaction. I've been wrong before and I know I will have more mistakes in my future, but not fully appreciating the value of this machine (computer) was a huge error. Reacting as a curmudgeon sometimes creates its own difficulties. Ironically, I have always thought one of the greatest tragedy in death is the lost skills and knowledge a person has acquired in their lifetime. The computer has become 21st centuries Library of Alexandria
