My car came with the sealed beam behind the original lense. I can see well and have no issues but when I replaced one of the units I found you have to bend the three tabs on the back of the bulb to slide it in the bucket without shorting to the rear of the bucket. No room for the connector that is available from the auto parts store. Some day I will change to the bulb-reflector set up that came on these cars. Jack
