Gary ....That lid that you show is definitely '38, determined by that distinctive handle....same handle on '38 coupes. "37 & '38 COUPE lids will fit either year, Standard OR DeLuxe.

SEDANS, both STANDARD & DeLuxe, changed body style to the "new" sloped '39 & '40 sedan style. Your trunk lid should fit '38, '39 & '40 SEDANS, STANDARD & DeLuxe.
