Default Re: Fordbarn Average Age

I'm 54 and enjoy my mini collection of restored and unrestored Fords of the thirties. I've pondered this "average age" question for many years, recognizing today's "kids" no longer seem to be drawn to an original 1934 or 1937 Ford. While none of us are in this wonderful hobby for the money, it does cross my mind that I might be fortunate to live another twenty-five or thirty or more years and that brings up two possibilities...no market interest at that point of what I've got in terms of "old, slow Fords" or assuming my wife and kids outlive me....what burden will a dozen old piles of rolling steel be to them...?
