I think it's too bad they made the bed out of various short hardwood scraps. I could almost see that, being a furniture delivery truck, but the wooden wheel tubs are just wrong. Also I think skirts look good on girls and lead sleds, not so much on a 1 1/2 ton truck. But most of all, 48" of wood glued edge to edge like a butcher block will swell an inch in width when wet. I hope the hold down bolts are in slots or it will buckle like the rocky mountains did... The bed strips we are all familiar with were used for a reason. Expansion/contraction. I like the cab though!
