Rebar wire is near .062" so it's pretty large diameter. It may not fit in smaller bolts. If it has a hole bigger than 1/16" it may work OK. I think the standard is 16.5 gauge witch is kind of a strange size. In aviation, the .040" and .032" are generally the most common for safety wire. I use .025" for cannon plugs and small screws.
