Default Re: Mystic noise iside a rim?

Hallo und guten Abend!

Thank you for the much informations. I am a little bit surprised. I was originally a little embarrassed to ask this question because I thought I was a bit of a spinner. Apparently, however, this is a typical Model A situation.

Today I drilled out the rim beads on the outside. Then rust converter (epoxy with presumably phosphoric acid) injected with a medical syringe. Then let the wheel rotate very slowly for many hours.

I chose the outer flanks so that the one-component epoxy can dry gradually and I have the option of being able to add wax without removing the tires. Therefore I cut a thread and can close the openings with M 5 screws.
